Click to select your answers) aGer

Explanation / Answer

a. Based on the sample of 19 students, proportion of community college males live at home = 16/19 = 0.84

b. Here Expected number of males living at home = 19 * 0.55 = 10.45

so P( N> = 16; 10.45) = ?

it will be cauculated with the help of bionomial distribution

P( N> = 16; 10.45) = 0.0077

c. This result is unusual because it is less than 0.05. Community college enrolment appears to be a factor that increases the likelihood of living at home.(option b)
