Hi i need help with this question from my statistics homework. We are doing combinations and permutations. The question is

A fan of country music plans to make a custom CD with 10 of her 30 favorite songs. How many different combinations of 10 songs are possible? Is it practical to make a CD for each possible combination?

I know this question is combination problem and have to use the formula
nCr=n!/(n-r)!r! i am having trouble solving it. Is it possible for a clear explanation to solve problems like this so i will know how to do it. Thank you for the help!

This is combination problem .
nCr=n!/(n-r)!r! number of combinations of n things taken r at a time

n=30, r=10

30C10=30!/(20)!10!

=30045015

Note:

Excel function used: =COMBIN(30,10)

In TI calculator,

Press [MATH], arrow left to highlight PRB, then press [3] to select the nCr function.
