3.The following observations were taken at P1 by students during their field work. CL CR Points P2 14 15 40 194 15 50 P3 301 22 01 121 21 55 P4 325 18 08 145 19 06 P5 279 56 44 99 56 51 P6 310 24 26 130 24 26 RO 14 15 50 194 16 00 Determine the final observation to the points P2 to P6. First calculate the mean from CL and CR observations and then apply RO corrections [09] Distances 4. The following inclined stadia tacheometric observations were taken using a total station setup at P with instrument height of 1.235m. Compute the horizontal distance from P to S and reduced level of station at S if reduced level of P is 262.575m. The total station has constants K1- 98.039 and K2 0.981. Use additional information given in table below. Total Station at P [07] Staff Reading (m) Inclination Upper Middle Lower Angle (e) 2.352 1.589 0.995 9° 25' 00" Staff Position Distance from P (m) 5. The table below shows information on 3 different waves sent out by an EDM when measuring a [071 distance between two points. Determine the measured distance. Wave Wavelength (m) Phase Angle 132 50 24" 193° 19' 12" 163' 26' 24" 1000 100 10Explanation / Answer
(3)to find mean ,the formula is
total observation divided by number of observation
for CL
add D +M+ S THEN divide by 6 because total count is 6
D=14+301+325+279+310+14=1243
M=15+22+18+56+24+15=285
S=40+1+8+44+26+50=169
now add 1243+285+169=3225
mean=3225 divided by 6=537
we will same do for the CR
add D+M+S and divide by 6
D=194+121+145+99+130+194=883
M=15+21+19+56+24+16=151
S=50+55+6+51+26=188
now add 883+151+188=1222
then mean will be 1222 divided by 6=203
