Hello need help with my Business Intelligence assignment The first part consists of a written project report of about 2000 words for a senior manager who asked you to create a dashboard that highlights business threats and/or opportunities and wants to present the dashboard to the board of the business Company is Woolworths the report needs the following:

1) Audience (18): Discuss who are the end users of the dashboard, what type of BI users they are, what kind of responsibilities they have and what kind of decisions they have to make.

2) Benefits (18): Describe in detail the benefits that a dashboard can bring to the organisation. Refer to monitoring possible threats (9) and opportunities (9) that the organisation is facing.

3) Data (18): Discuss what potential and real data sources will be included that can help the end users in making informed decisions. Consider internal (data generated within the organisation) as well as external data (data available outside the organisation).

4) Challenges (18): Address potential challenges in implementing the dashboard. Discuss the challenges from different perspectives such as data quality, data availability and others. You should discuss at least 3 challenges (6 for each).

5) Methodology (18): Describe the planned method for implementing the dashboard including who is involved in the development. Follow the BI Lifecycle which is covered in one lecture.

Answer to question# 1)

Dashboard would consists of the threats and opportunites that the company might face . and this dashboard as stated would be presented to the board f the business company

Thus the audience here would be the people in the board, or we can say the people who have the power to take the decisions about company moves in future

End users: The ends users are the board members of the company .They are the most important part of the company who are responsible for all the working of the company , the profits or the losses , the new product designs, the new markets , competitive position , all these factors are directly influenced by the decisions taken by the baord committee

Type of BI users: They are the people who need to be updated about the current market , the customer preference , the competitors , the profitability of their company , the effectiveness and efficieny of their decision making process. They need to get the data or information on right time to take right decision. Plus the accuracy of the data cannot be risked at all , else it may lead to a wrong decision , causing huge loss to the company

Responsibilities and decisions relate to following:
