Explanation / Answer

a) The Stevenson will be having population size of N out of that 20 students where selected by SRS so these 20 students form sample size and are part of population distribution . From a large population a sample is choosen by SRS method then that sample is surely a part of population distribution.

b) The 20 students in a statistics class and each student gathers data of 15 different students from Stevenson by SRS then these different 15*20=300 students form sample size of the entire population. Further when professor selects 20 samples from 300 samples then these values from a part of sampling distribution from sample of size 300.
