putting the values

b0 = ybar - b1xbar , where y bar and xbar are the means

= 74 - 0.65*74 = 25.9

so the equation becomes

Y = 25.9 + 0.65X

now if x = 54 , hence we put the value in the above equatrion we get

Y = 25.9+ 0.65*54 = 38.9
