a)complement event of (L or T) is that a randomly selected student does not have a laptop or tablet

b)as number of people having laptop or tablet =(L or T)=L+T-(L &T)=1500+900-500=1900

hence number of people who do not have laptop or tablet =2000-1900=100

therefore probability =100/2000=0.05
