This is to be done in Matlab software. I’m having trouble figuring out the code for quantization in Matlab. I believe in order to change the sampling frequency I just change Fs=8000.
You must do the following experiment for this assignment: (1) Acquire your own following voice data through a microphone for 5 second duration with 8kHz sampling frequency and 8 bit quantization, and save it in ?.wav" data format. Your acquired voice signal must have a sufficient amplitude without clipping so that you should be able to listen your voice clearly when you play the recorded voice This is ECEN400. My name is I am doing my assigned project." Read the acquired signal data by MATLAB and plot your voice. (2) (3) Plot your voice in time domain and the specrum of the voice signal. (4) Verify your job done with making sounds through a speaker
