Haplotypes are the cluster of SNPs (singe neucleotide polymorphisms). They are determined by our individual DNA. We each have 2 haplotypes- one from mom, one from dad. These SNPs in our DNA is what makes us unique. We each have our own code.

The basic formula to know the numbe of haplotypes is (2L possible haplotypes for L SNPs). So, for the 3 SNPs there are 8 haplotypes.
