He did not know much about thus woman. When they had sex , the condom accidentally broke. After the one night stand, he never saw her again, but he began to worry about disease. He washed his hands repeatedly throughout the day and took showers repeatedly to the point his skin was adversely affected. He knew that his behavior was abnormal, but washing was the only way he felt any relief from the recurring thought that he had germs crawling on him.

Tim was suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder. The repeated urge to clean himself as he feared that there might be germs clearly indicate that he was a very comulsive about cleanliness and not acquiring any diesease even to the point that he was tepeatedly cleaning himself.
