b. Joe carries a long second toe which is a recessive trait therefore his genottype is tt while Mary being a heterozygoous with dominant trait will have the genotype Tt. Here T denotes small second toe and is dominant over t which represents longer second toe.
c. If they have children the 50% will have longer second toe (tt) and another 50% will have shorter second toe (Tt).
