a) vcos heta x time = distance = 24

time =2.2 secs

vcos(53)x2.2 = 24

vx = v cos(53) = 24/2.2 = 10.9 m/sec

b) v=10.9/cos(53) = 18.12 m/sec

displacement = vsin(53)t - (.5)gt^2 = 8.12m

So, clearing = 8.12-7 =1.12 m
