the movie 3 idiots is adapted from a novel written by famous writer CHETAN BHAGAT which he named 5 point someone ... it was the story of 3 friends who were engineers ..famous bollywood director raju hirani decided to make a film on dat which he named 3 idiots .. it is the best film of that year ..rewarded many awards .. in both the versions there were some changes ..as in novel u dont have to picturise but in movie u have to concern about entertainment factor .. differences between two versions were First of all it was a novel in which no entertainment is required but story must be attractive and relevant but to make a film entertainment factor should be there so people would love it.Songs are not there in novel.Moie is edited and story is shown briefly in movie according to complete it in a given time.Characters are not same in both.Shoot in the movie was in IIMA which was different from novel.College life picturised is movie was a bit different from novel.
