A company plans to schedule 7 meetings during the following week. The meanings are numbered 1...7, Listed below are the people scheduled to each morning. The people are labelled A...L., Determine the Minimum number of different line periods that are to the seven(7) meetings. The Minimum number of time periods required is ________ List below which meetings are scheduled at each of the time periods. I may have listed more time periods than what is needed. Explanation / Answer

A requirement table is to be prepraed to plan the list of meetings at a period.

On preparing thet table we notice that C , K and L jas to attend three meetings. Also E,H, I and L are the only one attending meeting 3, this can be combined with any of the above combination (if we exclude L from the first list).

This will leave one meeting in isolation.

Hence the minimum number pf meeting periods are 4.
