Having so much trouble with this someone please help!!

Problem: Divisibility and Divisibility Rules

There are many rules to determine if a number is divisible by other smaller numbers. In basic arithmetic courses, you learned divisibility and discussed a few common divisibility rules. Your task is to determine if the given number is divisible by any of the following numbers: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10, by using common divisibility rules.

Given number: 2520
*Note: You want to use divisibility rules. Do not attempt to use long division and do not just use your

calculator.

Instructions:

Research the topic of divisibility.

Research the divisibility rules for the following numbers: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10.

Using the divisibility rules found, determine whether the given number is divisible by 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,

7, 8, 9, and/or 10.

**It is possible that the number might be divisible by more than one of the number choices

Once you determine which divisibility rules apply to the given number, include the following information in a report, in this order:

Explain (in a few sentences) the topic of divisibility, including any correct terms that apply.

Explain each divisibility rule that you determined was true for the given number. These

rules should be explained in words.

After the explanation of the divisibility rule, show ALL work for how the rule applies to the

given number.

You should do this for every divisibility rule that you think applies to the given number.

** You only have to discuss the divisibility rules chosen for the given number.
*** Do not give examples of other numbers and how they are divisible by the divisibility rules. Your task is to show which numbers the given number is divisible by and how it is divisible.

You must locate a minimum of 2 sources to help you complete this project. You must include at least one book or E-book (other than your textbook) and one website. Your sources should explain the topics of the problem (divisibility and divisibility rules) and have examples that help you with the problem.

On a separate sheet of paper, correctly cite, in MLA format, the sources that you located to complete the assignment. If you need help for citations in MLA format, go to http://www.easybib.com/.

Be sure to do the entire project typed neatly.

Explanation / Answer

The given number is 2520.

To check divisibility by 2, see if the last digit ends with multiple of 2 that is 2,4,6,8 and 0.

The number is divisible by 2 as it ends with 0.

To check divisibility by 3 add up the digits and see if it i sdivisible by 3.

The number being divisible by 2 i snot divisible by 3.

To check divisibility by 4 check last two numbers are divisible by 4 or not. Here, th elast two digits is 20 and divisible by 4, hence whole number is divisible by 4.

To check divisibility by 5, check if last digit of th enumber ends with 0 or 5. Here, it end swith 0, hence divisible by 5.

If th elast three digits are divisible by 8, the whole number i sdivisible by 8. Here, given number i sdivisibl eby 8.

If th enumber is divisible by 3, it i sdivisible by 6 and 9.

If th elast digit is 0, th enumber is divisible by 10. Here, it i sdivisible by 10.
