The graph shows the amount of money in each of their accounts after one month. a) Which chef deposits the greater amount of money each week into his account? Explain what information you used to determine your answer. b) In which week do the chefs have the same amount of money in their accounts? c) Which chef started the month with more money? How can you tell?

First we write the eqaution for Robert and maria using the graph

Robert ---> y = 20x +20

Maria ----> y = 10x + 40

a) By using the slope and difference we can determine it

For Robert the money deposited in wk1 = 20,wk2 = 60-40 = 20,wk3 = 20,wk4 =20

For Maria the money deposited in wk1 = 10,wk2 = 60-40 = 10,wk3 = 10,wk4 =10

Answer is Robert

b) 2 nd week as the graph meets

c) Maria as the y intercept is grater than Robert
