2. (x+3y)(x2-3xy +9y2)= x3-3x2y+9xy2+3x2y-9xy2+27y3= x3-27y3 (we can also use the formula a3b3 = (a – b)(a2 + ab + b2), where a = x and b = 3y).

3. (-x+2y)(x2-3xy +2y2)= -x3 +3x2y-2xy2+2 x2y-6xy2+4y3= -x3 +5x2y-8xy2+4y3

6. (8x2-4x+4)-(-2x2+3x-7) = 8x2-4x+4 +2x2-3x +7 =10x2-7x+11.
