y^6 + x^2/(x^2-1) y’’’ + 4/(x^2-1) = 0

a solution of equation of

y^n + p1(x) y^n-1…….+ pn y = 0 exists when p1,p2,…pn is continuous

=>

x^2/x^2- 1 is continuous for t != 1 and t != -1

also 4/(x^2-1) is also continuous for same interval

hence the interval of existence is , (-infinity, infinity) - {1,-1}
