y=mx + c
y=(-3/4)x + c
-9 = (-3/4) * 4 + c
or, c =-6
hence eqn is y=(-3/4) x -6
2. eqn thru (-5,10) and (-4,3)
y-y1 = (y2 - y1) (x -x1)

(x2 -x1)
y - 10 = (3-10) (x - (-5))
------------------
( -4 - (-5))
y -10 = -7 (x + 5)
