Question
I need an example of a problem(s) that can be solved by using algebra and geometry. Such as a quadradic equation that could not other wise be solved unless algebra and geomentry both is used. I also need it explained. I need to understand this concept of duality between algebra and geometry. Are there any other examples that could be used besides quadradic equations. If there is please give me another example and please explain it as well. I will use both for a better understanding of this concept.
It is important to have the problems and the expalnations for complete understanding. Please help me to understand this further.
