So im trying to facor this polynomial but am getting stuck. Can you help to solve this? Given: 2(x - 1)2 - 9(x -1) - 5 (x - 1)(2(x - 1) -9 -5) By Factoring out the x-1 (x-1)(2(x-1)-14) Bycombining -9 and -5 But im stuck now and dont see anything eles to factor or anyspecail patterns. Were my steps wrong and if so where did I gowrong. So im trying to facor this polynomial but am getting stuck. Can you help to solve this? You can't factor out an (x-1) the way you've done it. Onthe step where you say you've factored out an (x-1), multiply thatstatement back out and you get 2(x-1)2 -9(x-1) -5(x-1). Is that what the question is, factor this polynomial? It's already factored pretty well as it's been given to you.Related Questions
