a) The range of maximum pulse rate is = (Max - Min) = (195-155) = 40

b) The lower half is the data below the median(172) , the range of the lower half = (172-155) = 17

c) approxiated pulse rate :

Ratemin = 220- 57 = 163

Ratemax = 220-38 = 182  

So, range = 182-163 =19
