hence 68% values are between =mean -/+ std deviaiton=320 -/+ 45 =275 and 365

b)z score =(X-mean)/std deviaiton

here P(185<X<455)=P((185-320)/45<Z<(455-320)/45)=P(-3 <Z<3) =99.7%

c)

P(X<185)+P(X>455)=100-P(185<X<455) =100-99.7 =0.3%

d)

P(185<X<410)=P((185-320)/45<Z<(410-320)/45)=P(-3 <Z<2)  =97.5%-0.15% =97.35%
