So here we have given that alpha= 0.01

and test is two tailed test because alternative hypothesis is not equal type.

So for two tailed test there are 2 critical values for Alpha/2 and for 1-alpha/2

Alpha/2 = 0.005

Using z table we get P( Z<= -2.58) = 0.005

So critical value is -2.58

this is two tailed test so other critical value is 2.58

So (-2.580, 2.580) are two critical values.
