please show how you got it.
Explanation / Answer
1.
Total no. people = 1745
High blood pressure = 225
P(High blood pressure) = People with High blood pressure / Total no. people
= 225 /1745 = 0.129
2.
Total no of cards in a deck = 52
No of spades = 13
No of face cards = 12
No of Spades&face cards = 3
Probablity spade or face = (13 + 12 -3 ) / 52
Probablity = 22/52 = 0.423
3. Lets assume 100 cards
70 accepting 30 defective
Selecting 3 accepting = 70C3
Selecting 3 from 100 = 100C3
Probablity = 70C3 / 100C3 = 54740 / 161700?
4.
No of king cards = 4
Probablity (Drawing King ) = 4 / 52
after 1 draw total cards = 51
No of queens = 4
Probablity (Drawing Queen ) = 4 /51
Probabality (1st king and 2nd queeen )= 4/ 52 * 4 /51
= 16 / 2652
5. Total no of people = 43+27 = 70
Total no of ways of selecting 5 from 70 = 70C5
Total no of ways of selecting 5 from 27 (All men) = 27C5
Proablity (All men) = 27C5 / 70C5
= 80730 / 12103014 = 0.006
