Kuiper belt is a ring shaped disk in the outer solar system extending from 30 astronomical unit to 50 astronomical unit from sun. 5000 Quaorar is a is a minor planet and probably a dwarf planet. The kuiper belt is home to about 200dwarf planets.
They are regarded as dward planets and not as planets as although they are in direct orbit of a star and are massive bodies having a speherical planetary shape due to gravity but donot have a clear area around its orbit.And quaoar is a a trans-neptunian body and is has thousands of small planatory bodies and 242 minor planets.
