Answer A) The above graph shows a correlation between the rural and urban population from the year 1950 to 2030 in China
The graph shows a gradual increase in Urban population with time, whereas a gradual decrease in rural population from 1950 to 2030 is shown. An equal percentage of population of 50% is seen in the year 2015. After this the rural population tends to decrease gradually. The maximum predicted limit for urban population is very less than the rural population, around 40 and 90% respectively in 1950 and 2030 .
A negetive correlation is present between the two measures, where the urban population is increasing and the rural population decreases gradually. Negetive correlation is represented by the value -1.00
An increase in the urban population and a gradual decrease in rural population is the major conclusion from the data. Urbanization in China is the main concept given from this plot. Human population tends to migrate in Urban cities from rural locations. A predicted population of around 60% will reside in Urban areas by 2030.
Answer B) Human migration is the demographic process which links rural to urban areas, enhancing the growth of cities. The above information shows an increase in Urban population which in turn is due to migration of human population from rural to urban areas. The various geographic constraints behind migration in China might be social, economic or political.
Second part)An INTERNAL MIGRATION is represented in the above plot. Human migration within a country or continent is defined as international migration. In this case the rural and urban population distribution is shown only for China.
Answer C)First part) The data is represented in National Scle
Explanation- Since the data plots are given fod one particular country i.e China
The graph may also be represented in local scale which is relatively small, and data for any two particular city or town may be represented. The plot would be minute and large scale. The migration of human population between this two locations would be shown and a prediction for a prolonged period of 25years would not have been possible.
