Explanation:

1. The map which can be seen in the lower right panel says that there is a snowfall as we can see the symbol of snow. But if we consider the Pivotal Weather’s 700mb map then it can be said that forecast is given for every 3 hrs interval like 12, 3, 6, 9 and so on and here the precipitation unit is ‘inches’. It seems from that GFS model that 3 hours accumulated QPF that is quantitative precipitation ranges between 0.1 – 0.9 inches.

It can be said that this amount of precipitation can be validated from the upper right panel map as some scattered low-pressure areas can be seen and mainly this areas are experiencing the precipitation.

2. If we run a slideshow for this model to forecast then we can found that a cyclone is initiating in the south US near Florida.
