Question

Many studies with integrated assessment models agree that the economically optimal way to deal with fossil-fuel CO2 is: Do a little now to reduce CO2, and then increase those actions in the future. Do nothing now to reduce CO2, and continue to do nothing in the future. Do a whole lot now to reduce CO2, and then decrease these actions in the future. Do a whole lot now to reduce CO2, and continue to do a whole lot in the future. Do nothing until everyone now alive is dead, and then have everyone in the future panic.

Explanation / Answer

The economically optimal way to deal with fossil fuel carbon dioxide is to do a whole lot now to reduce carbon dioxude and continue that in the future.

Fossil fuels are those which are formed from the decaying of organisms, both plants and animals. It forms under high temperature and pressure and takes huge time to form.

The dependency on fossil fuels have increased much. And thus, they are on the verge of getting finished. But we cant have an access on the newly formed fossil fuels as they take huge time to form. Moreover, they are the most important reason for the degradation of the environment. Their burning cause pollution and even increases the average temperature om Earth, that is, the phenomenon of global warming. They emit carbon dioxide mainly, with other gases.

So, economically optimal way to deal with fossil fuel is to reduce it now and then more in the future.
