A visitor is spending the day in Alpha and will need to go out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. How many different ways can the visitor choose restaurants to eat at?-½ point If the visitor doesn't want to eat at the same place more than once, how many different ways can he choose restaurants to eat at that satisfy this restriction?-½ point Suppose the visitor is a food critic for a traveling publication and was sent to the town and charged with the task of reviewing 3 different restaurants for their service. Since he is only concerned with the service he does not care about which particular menu he is having (i.e. the breakfast menu, the lunch menu or the dinner menu). (1) Here has three food timings and for each timings he can go to 8 restaurents.
So diffeerent way he can go to restaurents = 8 * 8 * 8 = 512
(2) Now he doesn't want to eat again at the given place again in a given day so number of ways = 8 * 7 * 6 = 336
(3) number of different ways to choose 3 different restaurants to review = 8C3 = 56
