E(Y) = 554, V(X) = 1032

U = a+bX

E(U) = 500, V(U) = 1002

V = c+dY

E(V) = 500, V(V) =1002

Now we have

E(U) =a+bE(X)

500 =a+456b

V(U) = b2V(X)

1002 =b2(108)2

b2 = 1002/1082 = 10000/11664 =0.8573

b =0.93

a = 500-456*0.93 = 500-424.08 =75.92

E(V) =c+dE(Y)
