This problemis looking for the capabilty index which is the specification width/process width. For part A, I got 1.67 as my answer which deems it capable. Is this correct? ONLY ANSWER IF YOU KNOW PLEASE

Cp = (Specification width ) / Process width
Cp = ( Upper specification -Lower specifictaion) / 6 * process S.D
Upper specifictaion = 1000 +15 =1015
Lower Specification = 1000-15 = 985
Process standard deviation = 1015- 985 = 30
Process S.D= 2.8623
Cp = 30 /(6* 2.8623)
Cp = 1.7468
Since Cp > 1.33
Process is capable of filling bottles within the specified limits.
