Question

DUE TONIGHT 2/8!!!

CANNOT ATTACH FILES. PLEASE ADVISE.

On page 204 of your text, you are introduced to the XL Data Analyst tool used to determine sample size. Begin by completing the steps demonstrated in the discussion introduction. Once you have completed that introduction, verify that your results are similar to what is presented in Figure 9.4.

PAGE 204 INSTRUCTS US TO USE XL DATA ANALYST-->CALCULATE-->SAMPLE SIZE. THE SAME SIZE SHOULD BE ESTIMATED (P) 50 AND ALLOWABLE ERROR: 4. THIS SHOULD BE REPEATED WITH (P) AS 60 AND 5 FOR ALLOWABLE ERROR. CALCULATE WITH A 95% AND 99% CONFIDENCE LEVEL. (CONTINUE READING INSTRUCTIONS BELOW)

Repeat the exercise but, this time, change the estimated p from 50% to 60%. Capture a screen shot of your results and post into the Word document. Then calculate the difference in terms of the sample size, explain why there is a difference, and discuss the implications to your study.

Repeat the process one more time. This time, instead of changing the p value, change the allowable error to 5% rather than 4%. Again, calculate the difference in the sample size. Discuss the impact of the difference on the research project and the conclusions drawn from the survey.

Finally, from a cost benefit perspective, discuss the tradeoff that has to be made between more reliable data and the cost to obtain that information. At what point is it no longer beneficial?

Explanation / Answer

you can not upload any files other than image

however

you can attach screenshot of the data.

but this is useful only when data set is small

otherwise

upload file online like drive or dropbox etc and share the link along with question

although this is not advised by chegg . (I don't why ?)

hope this helps
