Question
I am having a hard time comprehending this question and visulizing what the outcome would look like. Please help me in answering this question in excel with the following stttached data slides.
Question:
Open a blank Excel workbook. Turn the frequency table shown in the lecture into a list of data. For example, there were 3 students who studied for 2 hours. In column A, type in the number 2 in three cells, then repeat to complete the data set.You should have a column of twenty numbers. Create a frequency table grouping your data into 3 categories instead of 6. Position the table next to the column of data. Then create the same three types of graphs that were shown in the lecture. Position the graphs below the table. In the cell below the column of data, type in your analysis of whether 3 or 6 groups is the better way to display the data and why.
Data to use:
three types of graphs to make:
Example Study habits of students # hours studying Frequency 3 2Explanation / Answer
The idea is to make the table first and then the relative frequency table.
The graphs to select in Excel include- a bar graph for first table a bar graph with Y-axis as relative frequency while X-axis as number of hours for the secon graph, a scatterplot which makes the graph like the third graph for cumulative relative frequency.
