a) Since order is not important, we are interested in only sum of two rolls. The sample space should be:

S={2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12}

b) In this sampling, all students are divided in 8 groups. Groups and homogeneous and then 4 students from each of these 8 groups are selected. This is an example of Stratified sampling. here groups are strata.
