(a) There must be at least 3 cables in order move camera at any desired position and take close up of any dersired place using the camera.
(b) Since we are using 3 cords to position camera at any place and we know that one end of each of the cords must be fixed. Now, if the cords are straight (making straight lines, then we must solve the system of three linear equations to get the intersection point because intersection point of the three lines itself is the position of camera. If li is the length of ith wire and (ai,bi,ci) are the co-ordinates of fixed points of each of the cables, then for finding the co-ordinates of current location of camera, we need to find the co-ordinates of the common end of the cables.
