Limitation of paleo climatologist of reconstructing climate are
1) , past changes in climate are unlikely to have been caused by increasing GHG concentrations. Different boundary condition mean that we cannot be confident that the characteristics of a warmer GHG induced future climate will resemble those of a past climate which was also warmer.
