First of all we need to know as well as undertsand about the watershed and then only we will able to correlate and understand the above situation which has been asked in the question. so lets do this as follows-
A watershed can be derfined as it is the area of the land that feed the water running under that land area and then get drained into the body of the water bodies near to that region.

c) The fresh and the quality of the water is tested and analysed and according to the analysis of this water we collect the sample data by varous lab experiment and by the virtue of this we can analyse the quality of the water. the more the water get sweep in the column of the ground water table the more will be it get filtered and thus the quality will be high.
