Question

Understand the two different types of plants and why the terrestrial planets are closer to the sun that the gaseous or Jovian planets. Important thoughts for each: Mercury, greatest temperature extremes and no sustained atmosphere Venus, rotates in a direction opposite to the other planets, has a very high surface temperature due to carbon dioxide and water in the atmosphere leading to a 'runway' green house effect Earth - well, what can i say: Mars, active volcanically with one of the largest in the solar system, Olympus Mons, a and Mars also has water ice; Jupiter, Largest planet more the 2.5 times the size of all other planets and asteroids combined, has a day less than 10 hours long, Great Red Spot, 63 know satellites (moons), 10 closest, is most volcanically active due to gravitational attraction between Jupiter in one direction and the other moons of Jupiter in other directions; Saturn, known for rings, atmosphere of 75% hydrogen's & 25% helium, 61 'moons', 1.Titan the largest, Uranus, axis of rotation is parallel to its orbit so one side is always facing the sun, also has rings and 27 moons; Neptune, winds of 1, 500 mph on the planet.

Explanation / Answer

Answer:

Our solar system consists various variety of elements which constitutes the planets and other moving objects in the solar system such as asteriods. Its been a 4.6 billion years ago when our solar system came into existence. And this phenomenon were widely proved by the big bang theory.

There are different types of planets including earth in our solar system, having different properties including their mass, size, density, gravitational properties etc. Earth itself one of the best example of the living habitat. However, rest planets are also have different properties according to their elemental constituents, as the arrangement of distance and rotation of all the planets are different according to their mass and size. Terrestrial planets having higher mass than gaseous planets therefore they are more close towards the sun. Uranus and venus show counter clockwise rotation due to the asteroids impact long years ago. Some conservative gases at the time of formation of planet made the membrane around that particular planet. That is why some planets have atmosphere and some don't.
