3. Eastern seaboard of North America is the coast line through which Eastern United State connects with North Atlantic Ocean. Western seaboard of North America is the coastline through which Western United State connects with North Pacific Ocean. The Eastern seaboard is characterised by low relief and passive margin setting. Bout, on the other side Western seaboard is active margin and is characterised by varied geological features and topography.3 basic types of climate are found in Eastern seaboard- continental climate, tropical climate and temerate climate according to Koppen's climate classification.
