Describe the partnership that resulted in the International Space Station. What countries participate in running the station?

Describe the difference between a planetarium and a telescope. What are the advantages of each for teaching astronomy?

Describe the effects of prolonged low gravity on humans in orbit around Earth. How can these effects be reduced?

Can learning about space tell us anything about ourselves? What connections do we have with objects in space?

Explanation / Answer

1) internatinal space station(ISS) launched in 1988 with the cooperation of different space agencies of U.S., Russia, Canada, Japan and participating countries of European space agency. it is the largest space station build ever for the research works, and the participating countries are responsible to maintain hardware, and run the space station properly, so all participating countries support for the launching, training, engineering, communication networks etc.

2)planetarium is a theatre built to show our universe on a dome shaped screen, so it will appears as night sky watch. it used for the educational and entertaining purposes, so that we can get a clear idea on the sky which is complicated when we see with naked eyes, in that way it has many advantages to clarify and animate the motion of celestial bodies

telescope is an eye to the real universe, it magnify the objects so that we can observe stars and planets closely, and it delineat the things which cannot see with the naked eye. it gives the real image of the planets and stars and individuals can watch and notice its peculiarities.

3) space is not suitable for the human body, it affect all kind of mechanisms. due to the low gravity field minerals will lose from our body, and bones will lose calcium content, so proper nutritional food and checking is needed to maintain body healthy. our back bones will expand, so that height will increses few centimeters. body fluids will rise upwards to our bodies and it exerts a pressure on eyes so it affects the vision. all these problems can be reduced by proper fooding and taking medicines to balance the functioning of the body, rest of the problems related to bones and muscles can be reduce by exercises.

4) we, the Earth system also a part of the universe, so learning about the space reveals the past of ourself. so the studies can give idea about the formation of earth and its evolution, because the elements found on earth are also found on other terrestrial planets and asteroids. so the studies of these objects like comets and meteors will gives the detils of origin of minerals found on earth.
