(a) p=95/250=0.38 =0.05, |Z(0.025)|=1.96 (check normal table) The 95% CI is p±Z*p*(1-p)/n --> 0.38 ± 1.96*sqrt(0.38*(1-0.38)/250) --> ( 0.319, 0.440) (b) the maximum error is E= 1.96*p*(1-p)/n =1.96*sqrt(0.38*(1-0.38)/250) =0.06
