A) rise in temperature is the main or starting part of the convection current. In deep within the Earth, the temperature increases because of temperature is high at depth and when magma heated, it become less dense and moves upward but when it come near to the crust temperature decreases and hence density increases and it sink down again to the depth. The other reason for increase in temperature in the deep is because of radioactive material

B) after separated from the Antarctica the north American plate moved toward north. It is a part of Laurensia. It collides with pangea and become a part for pangea till pangea splits. Then it was part of laurasia. In its journey the land get modified by Collision and hence different mountains which are huge in North America are result of this Collsion.

It was the part of gondwana is evidenced through the presence of dinosaur Era in between hence dinasaur sample collected from all over the north America and it is correlate with all other continents which were part of gondwana.

C) the scientist use the facts which are found worldwide and then correlate them with different plates hence it is easier to find that the plates are past ago are attached to each other. The different isotopic data from different rocks from Antarctica and north America shows they are attached in past.

Columbia was the first land mass which broke up and then accumulated to form rodinia

Rodinia is the big part of land in which all the continents were attached. The Era was proterozoic. The isotopic concentration of pb isotopes of igneous rocks are core elated with North American rocks and they showed that they are of same age. the kaweenawan province form North America shows similar isotopic concentration.
