Question
A research stuay was done to compare the mean numper or e by chickens housed at several different Egg producing companies. Of particular interest was the average number of eggs produced by chickens housed in four distinct types (Caged, Barn, Free-Range, and Organic). The numbers represent the average number of eggs produced by the sampled chickens that were housed in each of the four manners. Since P-value for Housing = 0.0212 < 0.05, so at 5% level of signficance we reject H0 i.e. all means due to four different housing types are same, at 5% level of signficance.
From bonferroni test as well, it can be seen that two means are homogeneous.
Hence,
Conclusion:
There is sufficient evidence to indicate that at least two of the mean number of eggs produced differ for the four different housing types.
