Dependent Variable: The effect of performance enhancing drug in the short and long term.

Explanation / Answer
Here, in our study we have topic of interest is effect of performance enhancing drugs on professional athletes.This is the type of Ordinal data because we order the effects of the perfomance of enchancing drugs to categorise in two categories viz short term effect and long term effect.So there are two categories and also can be ordered.Thus this is a ordinal qualitative data.
According to the type of data here we can apply ordinal logistic regression as data analysis techniques.As here our independent variable is continuous that is amount of performace enhancing drug but our dependent variable have two categories that effect of performance enhancing drug in short or long term which is a categorical one,so here we can use logistic regression technique.
