Rocks here are mainly sedimentary with limestones as major surface rocks. This gets disintegrated gradually over certain period of time.Most of the rocks have been exposed here because of industrialisation and mining processes.Too many railway building sites and the tracks have caused deformation to the lithosphere and there has been significantly unrest regarding the pathways constructed here over the decades.
