Question
The problem is about a circle inside of an ellipse. Theradius of the circle is 1 1/32.The ellipse is made into the circle by a transformation of
2/42 2/42
-2/18 2 /18
(Where that should be a 2x2 standard matrix).
It says to find the area of the ellipse. If it helps, theellipse appears to touch the x-axis at 4 and -4 (but those pointsdon't lie on the major or minor axis).
I never really had any sort of geometry or algebra that coveredellipses, so I'm pretty stumped here.
I will rate you if you can help! Thanks!
Explanation / Answer
