1-C-In mountain region rocks are eroded by water action and also small amount of wind action but sediments which are eroded and transported by agent are not deposited in mountain region due to sloping of mountain side .but in case of mouth of river,coral reef and ocean floor sediments are deposited .
2-If erosion happened in the rock in past we can easily tell by seeing the rock surface which is irregular and by touching on the surface also,the rock is loss of it's strength up to some amount not bearing stress much we can easily tell that the rock has undergone weathering and erosion in past.
3-I agree with student #2.because if the rocks were eroded in the past the upper surface of the rock was missing due to erosion which tells about erosion happened to the rock in geological past.
4-1st thing is after the deposition of A the rocks were folded and then 2nd thing is erosion of A occurs which is an unconformity and the deposition of D takes place.
