Use combination method to set up probabilities: P1: "OR" signifies addition, so add PA and PB .4+.3=.7 P2: Subtract total probability of going to each location from1, so 1-(.4+.3)=.3 P3 Subtract the probability of going to both and the probability ofnot going from 1 (total probability) to get probability that thetourist will go to exactly one location, so 1-(.1+.3)=.6
