I have gathered data as part of my assignment from bankersfrom 3 different banks. My topic of interest is "Pay and JobSatisfaction: A comparative analysis of 3 commercial banks". As the topic signifies, pay is considered as the dependentvaraiable for job satisfaction. A comparative analyses ofpays of 3 banks is to be done to find out i) whether pay is the major factor of job satisfaction ii) comparative analysis among 3 banks..in which bank thesatisfaction with pay is higher? I have feeded the data in likert scale of 1-5 in SPSS.I want to know which statistical tests to apply for finding out myhypotheses i) and ii) mentioned above. Moreover, there are various independent variableswhich also affect job satisfaction like promotion, compensation,job security, satisfaction with boss etc. Means of all thesevariables have been computed in SPSS. I want to know whichappropriate tests in SPSS should be used to test the relationshipamong the banks and with job satisfaction?
